Poncho Seed Applied Insecticide

Precise amounts of Poncho® 250 or Poncho® 1250 insecticide are applied to every seed, and then delivered to your farm, on the seed, in the bag. Water solubility and attraction to plant lipids (oils) are nearly ideal for maximum plant absorption which makes it better than any other seed-applied insecticide. With Poncho® 250 or Poncho® 1250 you can plant more acres per day with no liquid insecticide systems to mix and load and no insecticide hoppers to fill plus no chemical container disposal or special equipment is required. Poncho® 250 and Poncho® 1250 have no known interactions with herbicides, are non-restricted-use insecticides and have an excellent worker and environmental safety profile.

Poncho® 250

  • Seed protected with Poncho® 250 produced an average 5.64 bu. per acre more yield than untreated seed in 1,019 head-to-head comparisons over the past three years.
  • Delivers the early-season protection your crop needs against cutworms, wireworms, white grubs, seedcorn maggots, grape colaspis, flea beetles, chinch bugs and other early season pests.
  • Team Poncho 250 with a new biotech rootworm resistant hybrid for highly effective, broad spectrum insect control.
  • More effective control due to both contact and systematic activity.
  • Poncho® 250 seed-applied insecticide controls the early season pests that reduce plant stands and lower your crop’s yield potential.
  • A non-restricted-use insecticide; excellent worker and environmental safety profile.
